Unity in Diversity
In India, people speak different languages. They have different clothing styles. They have different eating habits. I am from northern part of India. We speak punjabi and their are lot of punjabi families settled in Punjab. But you can find hindus and christians living in Punjab. They speak hindi but their children studying in public schools study english, hindi and punjabi. For example, Himachal Pradesh is an adjoining state. Their people speak Dogri and hindi. So that is different. Haryana is also near to Punjab. People there speak Haryanvi. Mostly south indians wear sarees but north indians wear suits. Punjabi Dress is salwar kameez. They have different occasions to celebrate. Diwali is celebrated all over the country. There exists unity in diversity.
